BISA published its first two books, Distinguished Black Women 1981-1985, Volume I and Distinguished Black Women 1986-1990, Volume II. In 1995, BISA published Volume III. In 2000, BISA published Volume IV. These books are published every five years. They include women that BISA has honored in its annual calendars. The Volume V Book (2001 - 2005) is now available.
