BISA Partners
BISA has partnerships for its National Scholarship Assistance Program
at the following universities and colleges: Bennett, NC, Bethune-Cookman,
FL, Bishop State, AL, Grambling, LA, Hampton, VA, Lincoln, PA, Medgar
Evers, NY, Morgan, MD, Morris Brown, GA, Philander Smith, AR, Texas
Southern, TX, and Tougaloo, MS. Students interact with their mentors
Distinguished Women, on all levels. BISA's budget for the scholarship
awards are over $190,000 for four years.
In addition to the scholarship program, BISA maintains a Senior
Partner Program, publishes The Black Woman, a newsletter, sponsors
an annual Educational Exhibit Program, and an annual Gala Salute
to Distinguished Black Women.
