BLACK HISTORY MONTH & WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH EXHIBITS
(February & March)

The Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library, 9th & G Streets, NW, Washington, DC and the Oxon Hill Library, Oxon Hill, MD, are the sites for the annual educational exhibit of BISA's (Black Women in Sisterhood for Action, Inc.) Distinguished Black Women during the months of February and March. Twelve Distinguished Black Women profiled in BISA's Annual Scholarship Calendar are highlighted and displayed during this exhibit. These Distinguished Black Women are positive role models and mentors for BISA's Scholarship Recipients, who are from many walks of life, including architects, lawyers, judges, entertainment CEO's, and successful business owners. These women, selected from among many, are maps of excellence. Copies of their vignettes are available to the public during the library exhibit. Please call Black Women in Sisterhood for Action, Inc. (BISA), (202) 543-6013 for more information.
