The Martin Luther King Jr.
Memorial Library, 9th & G Streets, NW, Washington, DC is the
site for the annual educational exhibit of BISA's (Black Women
in Sisterhood for Action, Inc.), Distinguished Black Women
during the months of February and March 2005. Twelve
Distinguished Black Women profiled in BISA's 28th Annual
Scholarship Calendar are highlighted and displayed during this
exhibit. These Distinguished Black Women are positive role
models and mentors for women, are from many walks of life,
including architects, lawyers, judges, entertainment CEO's, and
successful business owners. These women, selected from among
many, are maps of excellence. Copies of their vignettes are
available to the public during the library exhibit. Please call
